Fazenda Chapadãoは、ブラジル・ミナスジェライス州セハド・ミネイロ地域の標高約1,200mに位置する家族経営のコーヒー農園です。2008年、兄弟のグスタヴォとホドリゴが酪農業から転身し、コーヒー栽培をスタートしました。現在は主にカツアイやパライソ、ブルボンなど多品種を栽培しています。収穫から乾燥、パッキングまでを家族4人で担い、ナチュラルプロセスを中心に品質管理に力を入れています。透明な価格提示と高いトレーサビリティにより、スロバキアや台湾など海外との直接取引も展開しています。
パライソは、ブラジルで開発されたアラビカ種の交配品種で、カトゥアイとムンドノーボなどを親に持つとされます。耐病性や収量の高さに優れており、特にさび病への耐性が強いため、生産者にとって扱いやすい品種です。標高の高い地域でもよく育ち、ナチュラルプロセスとの相性も良いため、スペシャリティコーヒー市場でも注目されています。明るい酸味と甘みのバランスが良く、柑橘系やトロピカルフルーツ、フローラルな香りが感じられ、品質のポテンシャルも高く、適切な精製と乾燥管理によって複雑で華やかなカッププロファイルが引き出されます。現在、ブラジル国内外で徐々に人気が高まっている品種の一つです。

Fazenda Chapadão is a family-run coffee farm located in the Sehado Mineiro region of Minas Gerais, Brazil, at an altitude of approximately 1,200metres. In 2008, brothers Gustavo and Rodrigo transitioned from dairy farming to begin coffee cultivation. They now primarily grow multiple varieties including Catuaí, Paraíso, and Bourbon. The family of four handles everything from harvest to drying and packing, focusing on quality control through a natural processing method. Transparent pricing and high traceability enable direct trade with overseas markets such as Slovakia and Taiwan.
Paraiço is a hybrid Arabica variety developed in Brazil, said to have Catuai and Mundo Novo among its parent strains. It excels in disease resistance and high yields, particularly notable for its strong resistance to leaf rust, making it a manageable variety for producers. It thrives even at high altitudes and pairs well with the natural process, gaining attention in the speciality coffee market. It offers a well-balanced profile of bright acidity and sweetness, with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and floral aromas. Possessing high quality potential, appropriate processing and drying management can elicit a complex and vibrant cup profile. It is currently one of the varieties gradually gaining popularity both within Brazil and internationally.
