コスタリカの Cup of Excellence 2021 にて29位を受賞しました、 San Cristobal農園のハニープロセスのSL-28です。この農園はナランホ県リャノ・ボニートの17ヘクタールの土地にあり、農園主のDaniloは50年以上前からコーヒーの生産をしています。コーヒーだけでなく、バナナや桃なども栽培しています。

COE出品時の彼らの言葉です。『60年以上前、私の祖父クリストバルが初めてコーヒーを植えた場所が現在のSan Cristobal農園です。こうしてコーヒーへの愛が始まり、この伝統は世代から世代へと広がりました。
私たちは、私たちのコーヒーの品質が非常に良いことを知っています。だからこそプロセスをより良くするための小さなマイクロミルを開設し、このコーヒーが高品質であると認められ私たちの努力が報われることを求め、私たちが愛するもののために働き、戦い続けることができるのです。

-More than 60 years ago my grandfather Cristobal planted coffee for the first time in which nowadays is the Finca San Cristobal. This is how the love of coffee begins and this tradition has spread from generation to generation.
We know that our coffee has a very good quality. Which is why with a lot of effort we opened a small micro mill to improve processes and seek that our coffee be recognized as high quality and that all of our effort be rewarded so that we can continue working and fighting for what we love-』

レモンやライムの爽やかな柑橘類や青リンゴを感じ、後味や温度が下がるにつれ顔を出してくるブラックチェリーやブドウ、パイナップルや僅かな焼き栗の甘さがとてもクリーンでありながら複雑さを持つ品質の高い一杯であると証明してくれています。後味にグリーンティーやハチミツのフレーバーも感じます。

 

 

This honey-processed SL-28 from Finca San Cristobal was awarded 29th place at the Costa Rica Cup of Excellence 2021. The farm is located on 17 hectares of land in Llano Bonito, Naranjo. The owner, Danilo, has been producing coffee for over 50 years. As well as coffee, they also grow bananas, Plantains and peaches.

This coffee has the taste of the fresh citrus of lemon and lime, green apple. The sweetness of black cherry, grape, pineapple and a hint of banana that comes through in the aftertaste and as the temperature drops proves to be a great quality cup with a very clean yet complex character. Flavours of green tea and honey are also present in the aftertaste.
