Clean and floral—translucent clarity and elegant fruitiness
A splendid cup born from Ethiopian heirloom varieties grown in the rich soils of highlands. Delicate aromas like white flowers and fruity notes reminiscent of sweet lemon and peach unfold with the lightness of clear water. The washed process yields a clean, transparent taste devoid of impurities, with a superb balance of delicate sweetness and a refreshing, tea-like finish.
Lalesa village, situated in the Gedeb region of southern Ethiopia, is a small coffee-growing area spread across highlands at 1,800–2,200 metres. Blessed with significant day-night temperature variation, abundant rainfall, and fertile soil, it is ideal for cultivating coffee with a vibrant aroma and crystalline acidity. Here, smallholder farmers cultivate heirloom varieties using traditional methods - called as garden coffee. The harvested ripe cherries are meticulously processed at the Lalesa Washing Station. The slow maturation typical of high altitudes, combined with precise processing, yields a coffee with floral notes, a clean profile, and bright fruitiness.
This single origin coffee is recommended for those who seek a special cup even in their daily routine, accompanying both ordinary moments and special occasions. When brewed using a drip method, you can enjoy a more floral finish.
